Rosemary Standley and Dom La Nena, two charismatic artists of the French music scene, join forces for Birds on a Wire. Known first and foremost as the singer of [the French-American band] Moriarty, Rosemary Standley appears to be one of the very remarkable voices of the nowadays contemporary music scene. As for the other member of this special duo, Dom La Nena is the [Brazilian-born] singer and cellist who has established herself a bright and inspired singer-songwriter and versatile instrumentalist. Led by their adventurous spirit, they formed together Birds on a Wire back in 2012 – performing eclectic repertoire from Brazilian folk songs to Purcell’s greatest hits. The birds are now flying again, this time with a rather different song material. Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Gabriel Fauré, Gilberto Gil, and Cat Stevens to mention a few are illustrious names the duo is honoring this time. A joyful musical journey, filled with beauty and emotion.
