Bosq & Kaleta are nearing a decades worth of collaborations. The duo is also coming off of a summer that saw their track Wake Up being played at the best festivals & clubs in the world by some of the biggest names in dance music (Folamour, Purple Disco Machine, Natasha Diggs, Tokimonsta, to name a few). The timing couldn’t be better then, to announce that they have finally teamed up for a full collaborative album which will allow them to explore a wider variety of sounds & influences than the previous catalog of singles and guest appearances. The album draws on Kaleta’s truly incredible history as a member of Fela Kuti’s Egypt 80 and King Sunny Ade’s “New African Beats”, pairing it with Bosq’s signature organic meets electronic disco & funk production. The first single Ipàdé is a blazing Afro Disco track for the clubs, with a b-side that sees them lean more electronic with a juju inspired house cut. The full album is slated for early spring and will be supported by a run of live shows where Bosq & Kaleta will blur the line between a live PA and an electronic act with live instrumentation to boot.
